Important notice — well-being and medical limits

Powalia — Last updated: 1 August 2026 · Version 1.0

1. What Powalia is

Powalia is a well-being app: information, educational content and personal tracking tools, with nutritional estimates and advice that may be assisted by artificial intelligence. It has no diagnostic, treatment or prescription purpose.

2. Powalia is not a medical device

3. Artificial intelligence and analyses

Photos, descriptions and portions may be incomplete or misread. Nutritional and micronutritional values are estimates: an error or an imprecision remains possible. No medical decision should be taken solely on the basis of a result generated by Powalia. Allergens cannot be guaranteed from a photo or a description alone.

4. Food supplements

Information about supplements is provided in general terms and is not a prescription. Check contraindications, interactions and dosages with a doctor or a pharmacist. Never stop or change a medicine on the basis of a suggestion from the app. Particular care is needed in the event of pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness, planned surgery or ongoing treatment.

5. When to consult a professional

Consult a qualified professional, in particular in the event of: unusual, persistent, severe or worsening symptoms; a history of illness or a chronic condition; drug treatment; pregnancy or breastfeeding; a significant allergy or intolerance; an eating disorder or a suspected one; plans for prolonged fasting or a very restrictive diet. This list is not exhaustive and Powalia makes no diagnosis.

6. Emergencies

Powalia must never be used to handle an emergency. In the event of immediate danger, a serious symptom or an emergency, contact your country's emergency services without delay. The address contact@powalia.com is not an emergency service; neither the Circle nor the therapists present in Powalia are emergency services.

7. Results

Powalia guarantees no result, whether personal, medical, weight-related or therapeutic. Reactions and needs vary from person to person. No promise of cure, prevention or treatment is made.

8. Therapists

Connecting with a therapist is optional. Each professional practises under her own responsibility, according to her qualifications and obligations. Powalia does not replace the relationship between a user and her professional; the features in the app remain well-being features.
